Pros
Global company, exposure to large enterprises as clients and influential c-level stakeholders. Hybrid policy also a pro, allowing myself to work from home most days. Deceptively positive interview process.
Cons
Too many cons to list. The most toxic culture I have ever experienced. Leadership is biased and will put themselves before their employees. Expected to work overtime and on weekends consistently, and when not doing so, getting called out for not being a ‘team player’. Leadership talks about their employees to other employees in negative & highly unprofessional ways. Treated as a subordinate. No respect for religious holidays. Belittling manager, numerous people leaving from my team over the space of 3 months & leadership chose to ignore the issues rather than review the manager who was the problem. Terrible unhealthy & incredibly toxic culture. NUMEROUS employees feel this way. Not trying to be negative, just would not want someone else to work here & experience this place.
Pros
The market has an obvious need for the product The product is mature with a committed team enhancing it The general team overall is supportive Management allows your to operate autonomously - they trust you to get the job done Everyone is very professional and courteous You can tell the company focuses on hiring A players
Cons
The company is coming out of a turnaround so many people are new As with any small and evolving company - there are growing pains. Make sure you like autonomy and can build your own success
Pros
Hybrid working schedule available Teams are friendly and hard working Clear path for professional growth worked towards all year, not just discussed during review season. Building process and procedures from the ground up (also a con sometimes) In process of building internal systems and tools to support growth (also a con sometimes) Compensation is market competitive / average 401k options and match percentage Small internal teams Open to solutions / changes
Cons
Growing pains Undefined processes and procedures when working cross-functionally with internal teams In process of building internal systems and tools to support growth Lack of internal resources to support growth Subpar benefits/packages for US employees Small teams = heavy workloads / long hours
