Pros

Benefits, front line employees are great to work with.

Cons

There is a lot wrong here, the entire company is moving offshore in the ruse of "diversity", SEB runs the product roadmap. If SEB ends up leaving as a customer the entire business will shut down, they do not have enough revenue coming in from other sources to maintain the workforce. C suite is only focused on IPO, they do not care about their work force, they do not care about career development, they do not care about 90% of their customers.

Thanks for sharing your feedback. As a young company with big growth ambitions, we appreciate all feedback, good or bad. We’re really pleased to hear you enjoyed the benefits we offer, as this is an area we are continually reviewing and improving as we grow. That said, it seems you didn’t have a great experience overall, and we’re sorry to hear that. At Xplor, we’re proud of the way we communicate regularly and transparently with employees, and we know this is as much our responsibility to share information, as it is our employees’ responsibility to read and watch the news shared, and ask questions when they have them. We intentionally use a social media style communication platform, Workplace by Meta, so that every time anyone shares an update, employees can ask follow up questions. On the mix of topics you’ve listed, we’ve communicated about all of them, on multiple occasions, over the last few years. We care deeply about helping our employees grow and develop. That’s why everyone at Xplor gets free access to LinkedIn Learning (over 80% of employees have taken this up already), we offer specific training for all leaders (70% of managers have attended at least one session in 2024) and we’ve recently launched competencies for all job levels, to create more clarity on how to grow your career at Xplor. On communications around topics like an IPO, we hold regular Global All Hands and vertical/divisional All Hands, so people can ask real-time questions of our senior leaders. We also do regular video interviews with our Executive team, and always post these on our internal platform where people can tag leaders and ask questions. We haven’t said anything about doing an IPO for over two years now, and we’ve been very clear about that on multiple occasions. We opened our India Talent Hub last year, as India is a great place to hire top tech talent and we’re really proud of our team there, how they’re coming together and the great features and benefits they’re already adding to many of our products. We continue to invest in our engineering as we scale our business and expand our products into new regions – we’ve added 209 new engineering roles globally in the last 12 months. And our customers are the lifeblood of our company – we care about them and their success, because many of us were once customers, so we know the challenges they face. We actively seek feedback from all our customers, and we’re working to improve how we share news about our Product roadmap and upcoming features and benefits with them. We’re the first to put our hands up and say that Xplor is on a journey, and that we have a lot of work to do, to get where we want to go. We’re committed to continuing to communicate clearly about this, through open, two-way channels and we encourage all employees to take responsibility for staying connected with what’s going on at Xplor and speak and ask questions of their leaders. We wish you all the best in your career, thank you.

Explor Ever since Explor was purchased by a PE firm, every aspect of the company to the most granular detail has effectively gone up in flames. For anyone who needs context, PE firms are parasites that steal exorbitant amounts of money from the companies they buy out - and then they have 26 year old matcha drinking ‘financial associates’ in some high rise in NYC make pivotal business decisions that negatively affect hundreds of employees’ lives all because they learned in an MBA class that making the ‘costs’ line in the Excel spreadsheet go down would make the ‘profit’ line go up. The first ‘strategic’ business decision made was to cut down on software developers (to make the ‘profit’ line go up in Excel), which has resulted in a WORSE product - then they hiked the price on customers (Again, to make the ‘profit’ line go up in Excel) which as anyone would have expected, enraged ALL our customers. The resultant employees who didn’t abruptly leave are now tormented daily with more and more ignoramus ‘strategic’ business decisions and treated like ants that a child is playfully burning alive with a magnifying glass. If you want to be treated with any human dignity whatsoever, Explor will not be a good fit for you. However, if you want every day at work to feel like you are a participant in the Stanford Prison Experiment while simultaneously having to take calls at all hours from every customer who wont stop asking “Why does the software I pay money for to run my business no longer work”, Explor will be the perfect future employer for you to take that big next step in your career.
