Cons
1. company environment is like working in jail where you have to do whatever is asked without any discussion. 2. Management is all Japanese and they would never listen to their employees as their culture is more of doing what upper management says. So never expect employee suggestion will be considered. 3. Completely negative and hostile activities take place by at your back, operated by highest management. You may be spied, video recorded even after work hours, cctv monitored, phone tapping, email tracking. One can never work for company growth in such environment. 4. Women harassment cell is there but if harassment is done by Japanese staff, there will be no action, in fact you may loose your job. 5. Sales people are treated as lowest ranked employees as they think they are leaders in product segment and employees do nothing to achieve. However, every sales person I know was working efficiently and exceeding company expectations. Sales department in every company is treated as bread earner and suggestions are valued but don't expect the same here. 6. Management is blind and follows the footsteps shown by the people close to them. They believe on whatever is told to them and even take harsh actions without verifying and discussing. 7. Growth aspects are limited to mid-level management and that is too at the cost of long tenure. 8. Company's attrition rate is high. Not because people leave, but because they are asked to leave for unknown and creepy reasons. Neither they will provide you any severance and your previous year bonus. 9. Company can spend Lakhs of money on procuring plants for decoration, tiles for washroom at 1lakh/tile, coffee machinees(even they are working), and other irrelevant articles but they cannot look into employee welfare and motivation by any means. 10. HR dept. exists only for filing and spying the employees and delighting the Japanese management. No HR is qualified as per the norms or requirements. No policies in place(policies that exist can be changed anytime as per management's convenience) and motivational activities are done to boost morale of employees. Most of the policies provide loop holes to harass the employees.
