Pros

Will hire anyone because the turnover rate is so high. Good for new grads looking for experience but run when you can, don’t get used to the toxicity Free breakfast but only bagels 1 day wfh but it’s fixed on Monday so no flexibility

Cons

A very toxic work environment. The more senior buyers in womenswear specifically give mean girls vibe, and from what I saw they treat their assistants horribly. A lot of toxicity and negativity being passed down from management to entry level positions, hence the turnover rate is so high you can see them hiring all the time. Work culture is toxic and not flexible at all, with management micro managing when people coming in, and regardless of the workload everyone has to stay until exactly 5:30, there’s no coming early leaving early or making time if something happens. No yearly raise, and bonus is only given when the team meets unrealistic sale goals, so basically no bonus. Only 2 weeks vacation and health benefits only cover 60% for the cheapest options, or you have to pay a lot to get more coverage. Specifically for buying, there are a lot of asks for the position. You’re pretty much doing everything from product development, sourcing to buying, so don’t expect this job to be a typical fashion buyer job. Yes you can learn a lot from doing so many things, but you’re not expertise in anything.

Pros

If your lucky you enjoy your job without someone micromanaging ad trying to find every little thing wrong.

Cons

Everything, why do you think they have a high turn over rate. Because they treat their employees like robots and disregard básica human needs.
