Cons
The company had a few unfortunate set backs recently impacting morale across the board and they have lost some great talents. It just need that one big positive break to boost everyone’s much needed confidence. Their interim COO advise and execution of some difficult decisions could have been done better, damaging the company’s culture and morale and exodus of some great talents. Her lack of experience in the execution of some of the tasks are evident and resulted in irreversible set back in culture and trust towards the management team. Given most employees level of commitment to their work (and most of us easily work beyond the 9-5.30pm) - a 25 days base holiday is very basic for a company with not much benefits on the pension or bonus front. 30 days minimum holiday a year would have make the cut. Doesn’t cost the company much and would have made a big difference with something positive to shout out on the benefit package front. Management and sales need to aligned better and explore new market and take some risks outside their comfort zone. Sales spent too much time targeting customers with little to no revenue potential. They should cut the losses and divert effort towards customers with a minimum revenue potential. Time is hard and resources are expensive and they need stronger and better partnerships.
