Pros

Great benefits. Free lunch. Yoga. Massages. Great coffee machine.

Cons

If you are reading this, then you're probably applying or thinking about interviewing right now. It is my civic duty to let the world know: they are going to paint you a pretty picture, but do not believe the hype. Sales here is the most devious, two-faced environment I've ever seen. They've had to wipe out their sales team multiple times, and the effects of that are terrible for morale. The 'leadership' team makes decisions, but how can those decisions be good when they have no practical knowledge? "Success" here is determined by how hard to brown-nose your superiors and this will also determine which accounts you are given, and ultimately, your success.

[From our current COO:] As the person responsible for sales when this review was written, I want to address several points the reviewer brings up. We haven't done anything resembling "wiping out" the sales team since I've been here. What we *have* done is de-emphasize a sub-scale remote location, let people go for material violations of company policy, and parted ways with reps who were unable to consistently hit revenue and activity targets. Leads are distributed equitably via round robin and fortunately we have a lot of them to distribute. Our objective is to build a diverse, high-achievement sales team, free of bro-culture. Ultimately, sales at Yesware is about results and the reality is that it's not for everyone.

Pros

Yesware has it all! Great people, a great product, and an awesome culture. Everyone from the top down, are fantastic. Upon joining the Yesware team, I immediately was welcomed and never felt like an outsider or a "nube"--people were friendly and each interaction felt truly genuine. I have worked for other tech companies where eye contact and even in-person conversations are a rarity and dead stares in the hallway and instant messages trump human interaction. It's refreshing to work in an environment where technology is used to the max, but a simple "hi" or laugh over lunch isn't lacking. The benefits and pay are nothing to sneeze at either! They reflect how much each employee is valued and not seen as just a worker. From the unlimited vacation days, nap room, massages, on-site fitness/wellness classes, awesome snacks and drinks, free lunches, and so on--I have never felt so wanted by a company. It's a pleasure to work here and cannot wait to see what the future holds!

Cons

We only get massages once a month. Can we get it twice a month? Seriously, I cannot think of anything at the moment. If there is anything that is ever of concern, I am able to speak directly to anyone and bring up the issue/concern as well as present any solutions and be heard. I find so much value in the level of empowerment and transparency I've seen in this company.
