Minimum Wage Job Job is to sell Extended Service Contracts (ESC) and GAP insurance while loan processing a customer looking to refinance. Not easy. Good credit customers want lower APR to get lower monthly payments. With ESC & GAP, they have higher payments with lower APR. Bad credit customers will agree but no banks will accept them. They say it's $100K job and takes 90 days to make more than minimum wage. Then why is there very few reps who's worked more than 6 months and why are there reps that become administrative clerks for less than $15/hr? Hours are screwed up. One week it's a 7-3 schedule. Next week a 8-4 plus Saturday. Next week it's 11-7. If you look disappointed, they will use MLM type tactics to talk to you into not quitting. If they feel your attitude might get others to quit, they will fire you quickly. If you work more than 90 days, you will be financially broke and chasing this mythical $10K month that will cure all your financial problems or you will quit and they'll cut you a minimum wage check while giving favorites of theirs your accounts.

Pros

The management team is a wonderful set of people that values their employees. The business works hard to communicate between teams and departments. The software development department is seen as an integral part of the company's success and consistently sees investment. I am trusted for my advice and expertise.

Cons

Snacks disappear too quickly in the break room. No 401(k) match. Health insurance is expensive.
