- One afternoon's 'training' on site and you're dumped with parcels on your own from day 1 -Depending on when you start, might not get paid for a whole month -Fuel not covered -Vehicle expenses not covered -Insurance not covered, deducted from pay -Poor communication from senior personnel -They claim you can be as flexible as you want but that wasn't the case in my experience -Delivery to offroad places which is taxing on the vehicle -Expectation to deliver parcels outside your typical route -Exposed to the elements due to nature of the job - Have to use your own mobile and Data- buy a cheap phone - For less than £1 per parcel you're expected to be a customer service representative as well since Yodel give customers your number -Overall not a sustainable long term job if you want to progress. Stop gap job really
- If you deliver parcels early, you get docked pay for being efficient at your job which is ridiculous
