Pros

Fast skill gains: Sink or swim pace that forces you to learn design work quickly. Big reps early: You touch a ton of websites, so your resume gets weight fast. Stepping stone: Decent launchpad if you're hungry and willing to forgo good pay for a bit.

Cons

Workload is brutal: Too much vague work to quickly, turns into low quality work and constantly mad clients. Pay doesn't match grind: Low for new hires, raises doesn't keep up with real life. Pretty bad. Management and culture issues: Feedback gets brushed off. Firings and quitting turnover make a tense vibe.

Pros

Great people to work and collaborate with

Cons

Leadership structure feels highly insular. Upper management appears closely tied to the CEO on a personal level, which can create an environment where decisions are rarely challenged. This can lead to a lack of diverse perspectives and limited pushback on strategies or expectations. There is a strong emphasis on completing daily tasks and deliverables, sometimes at the expense of focusing on long-term, sustainable marketing growth for clients. The nature of SEO and digital marketing often requires time and strategic patience, which isn’t always reflected in workload expectations. Job security can feel uncertain. In situations where client accounts are lost, there is a perception that employees may be let go as a way to offset lost revenue. This can create a cycle where turnover feels frequent and new employees are brought in to fill those gaps, contributing to an unstable work environment.
