Pros
I joined Yup.com (formerly, MathCrunch) as a Tutor Quality Manager in April 2015. I tutored with several other companies earlier, but Yup is my favorite. Flexible schedule and friendly atmosphere are what that made it a unique place to work. I have experienced every phase of the growth of Yup, and they allowed me to share my experience and suggestions in designing Quality Rubric and operations. They pay for every minute that I work as a part-timer and on time.
Cons
Not much and I feel it is the best place to work! Being a start-up, they are trying very hard to implement systems to make a tutor's job easier. I appreciate it! I am okay with what I am getting as hourly pay based on the working environment here, but I expect a better hourly payment based on what I am getting outside.
