Pros
Can be a very secure work environment, if employed. In this case, benefits can be interesting and, depending on the position, work hours and environment can be very child and family-friendly. Interesting array of further training and workshops for employees
Cons
As large public companies go, processes can be inflexible and move very slowly, if at all. Career development prospects vary hugely depending on department and position. Tendency to view staff as figures, rather than actual human assets. Substantial difference in treatment of employed staff as opposed to freelancers (including long-term freelancers).
