ZP Services aka GCC7 Services Malta (the company's name was changed between January-September 2021) provides temporary accommodation for 1 month located in dingy basements, excessively moist, full of mold and dirt, with a television set not connected to a TV signal, with a room for 2-3 people and one bathroom for 6-8 people. You need to pay a returnable deposit 30 EUR for this 1-month accommodation. The company changes its legal name frequently to avoid negative reviews from past employees and higher taxation from the Maltese authorities. Meanwhile, the base salary to sales agents is low and roundly 1000 EUR and the commission is low roundly 5-10 %, the company does not have a separate sales department and the sales agents work under the customer service department. Although you work for sales, your contract does not provide any information on your position or work obligations. The team work is bad organized, the team leaders are rude, surly, flagrant, foul-mouthed and unprofessional, the amateurs who had never worked in corporate sales environment before this job, including former waiters, housekeepers, sorters and packagers. The team work style is an analogy of a forced labor camp. During the work, a really loud and disturbing rock music is permanently on in the whole project. The project is located in the basement which by the extent is similar to a former parking area, the language teams (Italian, Polish, Swedish) are separated by thin partition walls. Spanish language team is directly distinguished with no reason, separated from other teams and located on the ground floor. The management promotes total submissiveness and lack of personal opinions, makes intentional and planned partitions between the employees in order to select the most compliant employees. The team leaders suddenly interrupt your calls with the customers, usually when you are close or very close to complete a sale or conversion, just to directly reduce your professional development in the team. It is a total dictatorship, if you do not repeat the team leaders' commands exactly, then you got a rude face-to-face talk with them which is finished by termination. The team leaders blackmail you by using the financial argument, for example they remind you the company is investing money in your work on every possible occasion. The company does not provide a training for the job. The hygienic conditions in the workplace are between a tragedy and psychological thriller. The workplace is dirty and the work equipment (computer, headphones, tables, sits, electric connections) is faulty and perpetually perishable. The electrical supply to the workplace is faulty, your work can be interrupted any time for 10-15 minutes due to an electrical breakdown. The toilets are dirty and unclean by most of day, the trashes are overloaded by most of day. The common areas (kitchen, break area) are small and dirty. The disinfectant liquid/gel is out of date and sticks to the hands instead of drying out. Even the coffee automates often do not work, usually you get from them a dirty water instead of coffee/tea/chocolate, and usually do not give you sugar. The offered benefit of breakfasts is poor, the food is not fresh or is refreshed, often with a stomach ache as a result. During my work in the company, 4 agents left in 3 weeks after 1-3 months of work, at least three of them were on the edge of the 3-month probation period, while 3 managers were replaced for worse. The career opportunities in the company are absent. Beside the state health care, there is no additional private insurances from the company. There is no any other benefits, such like sport card or meal vouchers, as well. Reimbursement of travel ticket expense is almost unlikely, because 95% of newcomers leave the company during their probation period.
