Pros
Well,...the only pro (I guess) was listening to people telling me what an awsome company it used to be to work for. I never experienced it in the 6 months I worked there.
Cons
WOW! First off I was lied to TERRIBLY during the interview process. My manager, and a co-worker, told me I was to work closely with this particular co-worker on all major projects I was hired for lasting at least 1 year. That particular co-worker's last day was 3 days after I interviewed (woops,…they forgot to tell me he placed his notice that week). Management was 100% sadistically condescending beyond belief (eye rolling, shaking of heads, and bursts of laughter and sneers during meetings). My manager in particular refused at all costs to hold face-to-face conversations and ONLY COMMUNICATED THROUGH IM CONVERSATIONS (I practically begged otherwise) that were so rude I wish I could paste them on this site. The system’s servers were hammered with IO issues that could very easily be corrected but when recommending any changes at all to this company all people could do was literally point their finger in your direction and defensively state “Dude, you don’t know this company. This company used to be cool to work for” and just rant and rave about the good old days. This happened more times than I could count and it was weird and obnoxious, especially when co-workers would quickly change the subject and brag on the claimed brilliance to all that currently and have past worked there. I personally found anyone who did not constantly reflect on the prior days of 9Squared (company Zed bought out) or seem intrigued was immediately ostracized. It was sad,…a very sad childish experience.
