Collaborative environment with some structure, but a freeing level of autonomy, control over your own schedule and choice to work remotely for part of the time. Helpful management team. Highly varied work. Opportunities for growth and promotion. Medical, vision and matched retirement benefits.

Pros

Flexibility to work anywhere at anytime. You have the opportunity to take ownership on projects with clear and positive leadership. If you have a fun and crazy idea, Zipline gives you the opportunity to explore that with the team to implement into future projects. You have a voice and they have a listening ear. Clear expectations and thoughtful guidance.

Cons

Deadlines can be tight, but that comes with any agency or design driven company.

Pros

The only pro that I can even fathom of this company is that it's an excellent location for new graduates who know no better to gain quick work experience and to build a portfolio so they may move on to a legit agency that values them and their work.

Cons

- Methods used are antiquated - Views maintained from management/leadership are extremely antiquated - Favorites are curated and exploited - Developers will limit skill sets by only maintaining and implementing either the custom ZLCMS or a WP CMS - Designers are mislead to believe they should be "progressive" or to "push" when in reality the management wants a blunt design tool - Lack of internal mentorship and training - Project management team is utterly clueless -- leading to poorly management projects/clients and low team morale - Management is NOT made of real "leaders" - Development/Design teams are blamed for awful management - Time off is frowned on -- even if it's a family emergency/tragedy - Leadership is unprofessional and immature - No set structure to hold anyone accountable - Management lacks ability and desire to defend team - Management lacks the ability to manage clients and expectations that follow - Projects are constantly underbid -- leading to poor team morale and awful project output
