Lots of internal career options, ok salary if you're in corporate center, international environment, good fringe benefits,
Cons
Can be very hierarchical. bad managers go unchallenged (HR has no say, "boys-club" very active), many micromanagers, different BUs feel like different companies alltogether, no tangible corporate culture (differs from unit to unit)
