Pros
Coworkers are very professional and easy to get along with. Benefits are pretty decent, including good health insurance and fitness reimbursement. Wages are good, even on the high side. Location in Westwood is great. Good work-life balance, and not a lot of deadline pressures.
Cons
Company has gone through a few tumultuous years recently, including layoffs and "restructuring." There's a sense that management doesn't know where the company is headed. Old products aren't selling well, but there aren't many good ideas for new products. Management is often not forthcoming about the state of the company, and employees live in a constant state of fear that their position will be eliminated. The "professional" atmosphere is also a bit stifling; HR encourages people to talk only about innocuous topics (e.g., the weather) to avoid conflict. The result is that many people keep to themselves and don't talk to each other.
