Pros
It is a diverse company with lots of great talent. The people make bitsIO great, not the leadership.
Cons
The mood has changed in my two years at the company. After every quarter of my employment being a loss, the mood soon ran thin despite being constantly billable. After seeing absent leadership return panicked from vacation it was clear that their promises of us being a family company were vain. The trust was just gone. If you want a raise even though its promised, you have to battle HR to get there and then you're still labeled not loyal, if you want your bonus you'll get it but again you'll have to work for it and wait until it paid out. If you want to move up even if people see your talent, better expect favoritism and nepotism. Granted some of them are qualified and served great. On my way out it was so difficult to get HR to respond and the mood of the exit interview set was that I was an inconvenience for them and my time wasn't worth it, unless they want to save face to keep people there. The secret to staying there is believing in the secret promise that work will always be around the corner. The true secret is, its not there.
