Pros
- I left App Annie and returned to App Annie, and there's been quite a few other returnees. This says something about App Annie, when hindsight plays a role in career choice - Company is now in expansion mode. we're hiring! - There's also been much progression/transition over the years. we've seen BD managers become country directors, directors becoming MD, country managers heading into product, SDRs becoming CSM, CSMs heading into marketing and product, sales managers heading into sales ops, office managers taking on Salesforce/Marketo etc, lots of opportunity to move and learn across roles and regions - As the dominant market leader, everyone in the industry knows the brand and product. You'd get a lot of "oh we look at App Annie every day" when you meet new people at industry conferences. This means a lot for sales. The product is also easy to explain, although closing sales takes much more than that. - Very proud of the company's achievement in Asia. APAC currently accounts for 40% of the Annual Recurring Revenue(40% Americas, 20% EMEAR). - Free lunch is actually quite a thing
Cons
- App Annie has been very dominant in the mobile/internet/tech verticals, and now we are expanding our business into the more "traditional" verticals. This requires a different approach for the sales and marketing teams, so this can be a con for some who might not be able to adjust - quite a bit of multi-tasking now since there are a number of open roles to be filled
