Pros
It's a marketing job to put on a resume
Cons
- In short, the company is chaotic, disorganized, and all over the place. - Not a digital marketing agency but a SAAS company that provides digital marketing services as an aside. - Have had two rounds of sudden, massive layoffs because they are backed by investors but aren't profitable. - Constantly changing job duties, deliverables, and expectations every week which makes it difficult to keep up with. - DIY SEO - Extremely limited processes in place, everything is manual with a million spreadsheets floating around. - Provide low-level, sub-par SEO services to unwitting clients. - Low pay in comparison to other SEO titles. - Expected to provide deliverables to 30-60 clients each month. - Made promises of quarterly reviews and raises that weren't delivered. - The "training" is someone stuttering for a few minutes and then you're left to try and figure things out on your own thereafter. - Very limited tools to do your job, I ended up purchasing tools out of pocket so I could better help clients. - Upper management doesn't communicate with lower management before they make major decisions. - No growth opportunities in education or position.
