I’m very sorry you had to deal with internal gossip. I certainly don’t advocate gossip, as it’s unproductive and generally unhealthy. We’d welcome your feedback if you’d like to contact me, or HR, to discuss your experience in more detail.
I’m also sorry you didn’t feel the pay was fair. We try hard to benchmark our pay vis-à-vis industry standards and be toward top half of pay ranges, but can certainly always improve on our efforts here. As you know, CANI (continuous and never-ending improvement) is one of our core values.
We also ensure that every role at EHS can earn quarterly bonuses, beyond their base salaries, based on the achievement of key-performance indicators (KPIs). Based on your comment, it sounds like we should have done a better job communicating or managing expectations with you around what your offer letter stated as compensation, and what you ultimately earned as quarterly bonuses, as there appears to be a disconnect.
Again, we welcome a conversation about this with myself or HR if you’d like to help us improve here and talk more specifically about how our comp plan was not in alignment with your expectations. We’re always open to suggestions on how to improve going forward.
