The boss. He generates an unconfortable ambient in the office. He fire people for nothing, just for make theirs employes to have fear. He also don't want you to take holidays or get sick so if you do you probably get fired. Avoid this company, is not a good places to work.

Pros

eProsima is a small company, around 15 employees, all of which are very nice people. Personally, I experienced the teams working very well together. Always with a helping hand and great technical skills. The projects are amazing. Most projects include big international companies with very cool projects. They include everything imaginable in this sector, from autonomous driving projects to robotic arms, microcontrollers, drone swarms, military communication systems and european R&D projects. If that’s your stuff, eProsima is for you. But don’t understand me wrong, you don’t actually see the hardware, it’s all about the middleware development. Working hours are ok. We start very early and it’s not for everyone. But definitely has its positive aspects, as you finish early as well and usually don’t have the fear of overcrowded traffic etc. Normal holidays. Salary is quite fair. I guess, it depends a bit on negotiating skills and the actual experience.

Cons

Being such a small company it is clear to me, that sometimes one has to do tasks which are a bit out of one’s comfort zone, that includes public speaking, prepare and hold online meetings, do documentation or give support to clients and the community. There is just no specialist for each task. At times, it’s true that work adds up and one could feel something like pressure or stress.
