Pros
Some genuinely talented and passionate colleagues at junior and mid-level positions trying to make the best of a difficult situation.
Cons
Where to begin? Edyn suffers from an alarming lack of strategic direction and competent management. Leadership is disjointed, reactive rather than proactive, and seems either unaware or unwilling to address the serious issues within the business. The culture is top-down, hostile, and driven by egos rather than expertise. There is a pervasive atmosphere of bullying, with certain members of senior management openly dismissive and demeaning towards staff. Constructive feedback is unwelcome, and dissent — even when well-intentioned — is punished. Employee wellbeing and development are afterthoughts at best, and turnover is unsurprisingly high. Perhaps most concerning is the leadership’s obliviousness to their own shortcomings. Decision-making is erratic, priorities shift without warning, and accountability is non-existent. Poor leadership decisions are regularly blamed on the teams below, eroding morale and creating a toxic blame culture.
