Right ideas, bad execution - Content Writer iMarket Solutions Employee Review

Pros

My boss was cool and let me work independently with almost no micro managing. That guy left though and then a micro manager stepped in. Lol. But as a writer, it was very cool to work on my own and for the company to (mostly) respect that. I learned a lot about being a better, faster writer. My coworkers were great and always very helpful.

Cons

At the time, the marketing startegies were a bit outdated. I won't say much here except that it's very difficult to innovate under the crunch of more and more clients.

Pros

a) Specialist and Management-level colleagues were great to work with, often going above and beyond for clients and colleagues. b) Taking time off was respected and did not result in pushback or penalties.

Cons

a) Company objectives shifted frequently, with limited clarity around success metrics. Existing KPIs were inconsistent as some were achievable, others misaligned with outcomes. b) Disparities in accountability created a divide between departments, leading to tension and reduced cross-functional trust. c) Client expectations around scope were rarely managed effectively, leading to workload imbalances. Internal concerns on this issue received limited follow-through. d) Root cause analysis for client dissatisfaction was sometimes skipped in favor of attributing issues to delivery teams. e) Strategic emphasis on AI created uncertainty around job stability, especially as it related to core staff responsibilities. f) Extended vacancies in leadership roles contributed to inconsistent project management and increased burden on remaining staff.
