Pros

I have been at iboss almost a year and have had a positive experience. There is a performance driven culture throughout the company and especially in sales. I have been at places where weak sales reps hide behind the strong ones. This is not the place for that. They are lenient and will give you the opportunity to grow, learn and build your pipeline to a point where some reps feel they are owed the position. They will eventually cut the dead weight. I know most of those that posted negative reviews here. Everyone in the sales team knows who they are and no one was surprised when they were let go. Nor surprised that they posted. They had the same ‘blame everyone but myself’ attitudes. Notice all the negative reviews are from sales which is to be expected. If you like a fast growing, non micro management company, this is your place.

Cons

This place is not for someone who is happy just punching the clock for a paycheck There is so much happening across cyber-security and within iboss that you need to be constantly learning and growing or you will get left behind.

Pros

This is an excellent environment for self-motivated individuals who want to take on challenging problems and work on the latest tech in the cybersecurity industry. As part of the engineering team, I'm proud of the mature infrastructure we've built here. Our CI/CD pipelines and dedicated QA processes ensure that we are shipping reliable, high-quality code. It’s an incredibly rewarding place for anyone who values strong engineering standards and modern deployment practices. I also enjoy the work/life balance, being able to spend time building out a popular automation framework on GitHub, as well as having time to create YouTube videos for teaching others how to use it. Being 100% remote adds an extra high level of flexibility.

Cons

Because the role is 100% remote, it comes with the standard challenges of any distributed team. Eg. It's entirely up to you to build out your own social life outside of work.

Pros

I was recently promoted to Director of Sales Operations, and one of the things I've appreciated most throughout my career here has been the opportunity to grow and take on new challenges. I've been trusted with increasing responsibility over the years, worked on a wide variety of projects, and have had the chance to continuously learn and develop professionally. I've worked closely with many teams across the company over the years and have always found the people to be one of the biggest strengths here. I've also been fortunate to work directly with both the CEO and President. They have always been supportive, accessible, and genuinely invested in my success. A big part of my career growth is a result of the trust, guidance, and opportunities they've given me along the way. Like any growing technology company, there are busy periods and plenty of challenges, but that's also what has kept the job interesting. I've never felt stuck in the same role doing the same thing every day. There's always an opportunity to contribute, learn something new, and make an impact. No company is perfect, but overall I've had a very positive experience here.

Cons

As with most growing technology companies, priorities can change from time to time and the pace can be fast. That environment won't be for everyone, but for people who enjoy learning new things, taking on challenges, and having opportunities to make an impact, it can be very rewarding. Flexibility and a willingness to adapt go a long way here.
