Pros

Employee Career Development is a priority of leadership. The company invests time and resources in developing its employees. Colleagues care about one another. New hybrid WFH policy New/Modern platforms to work with (SAP/Salesforce) Modern office with open floor plan. Great Benefits w/401k match. Overall, I have felt I have been put in great positions to succeed. At the end of the day, it is up to me on a professional level to win business. Monthly events that promote collaboration across departments (examples: happy hours, sports, team building events, catered lunches, golf outings, internal friendly competitions)

Cons

Because ifm has a smaller company feel, you may be asked to wear many hats and be provided stretch assignments.

Pros

The company strongly promotes a sense of internal loyalty through its "Orange Blood" culture, presenting itself as a tight-knit family. While this can create a feeling of community for those who align closely with leadership expectations, it may feel less welcoming to individuals who value independent thinking or outside perspectives.

Cons

For some, the cultural intensity can verge on insularity, with a few observers informally comparing it to a "true believer" environment. Company events and traditions are frequent and lively, but may feel performative rather than inclusive to those who have not spent their entire careers with the company. Within the company there is a clear ambition to align with modern tech industry standards. But the company's foundations in industrial manufacturing continue to strongly influence its culture and operations. This heritage provides stability, but also limits the speed and flexibility associated with true technology-driven organizations. Overall, while the workplace appears friendly and committed on the surface, prospective employees should take time to evaluate whether the culture’s strong internal focus and industrial paced product development supports their long-term career growth.
