Pros

When I first arrived, the company seemed to be fully committed to a person centred approach, their main values being kindness, compassion and resilience.

Cons

Now suddenly, the company no longer pay for travel when taking clients to places during working hours, they no longer fun any type of food for staff (including biscuits for both staff and PWs!), we are no longer given funding for bingo prizes (e.g. cheap 1 pound bottles of shower gel) for our PWs, so we do bingo with prizes, which is basically bread with no butter. On one hand, the training enforces never financially abusing someone, then a month later into the job, they have changed to ' ask the people we support to pay for your meal'...on one hand we are trying to help them manage their finances, and on the other they want us to ask them to pay for our meals?? Its disgusting! The company is clearly not a poor one, there are branches all over the UK. They make more than enough to supply some biscuits and small bingo prizes and a bus fare for a support practitioner on minimum wage doing 12 hour shifts for them. This company has very rapidly gone downhill in my opinion and has become way too corporate for my liking. I will not be here for long therefore.

Thank you for taking the time to review ivolve. It would be great if you could email me directly at enquiries@ivolve.care so we can look into some of the issues. Some of the things you have described, including travel, don't feel quite right and I can help look into this for you. Thanks!
