Pros
The job allows for a lot of autonomy when making day-to-day decisions, as long as your prove yourself capable and accountable. Personal bonuses & team bonuses are apart of the compensation, and were achievable both years I worked there.
Cons
The office is small and personal space is minimal. I often found myself having to talk over the other project managers when answering my phone because our desks were so close. If you are not experienced in packaging, brace yourself. Training is spotty and explanations are in no particular order (although management was working on putting together a training binder as a reference for new comers, as this is a area they openly admit to needing improvement.) Long hours are apart of the company culture, with upper management & sales counterparts expecting you to answer email and take phone calls in the evenings & weekends. High turnover of employees often lead to accounts being mismanaged. I often felt like I was cleaning up messes, completely overwhelmed with the amount of accounts I was assigned to, or both.
