The "leadership team" (VPs and CEO) care only about advancing their own agendas and careers. They place more importance on proving themselves right than making forward company progress, creating a toxic "CYA" culture. Projects are massively delayed and eventually canceled due to lack of direction or decision making by the VPs, who refuse to delegate even simple decisions.
