Pros
I had the opportunity to work at nsKnox, and while there were some positives, such as the convenient location, the flexibility of working from home, a good work-life balance, and the supportive colleagues on my team, my overall experience was challenging.
Cons
One of the most significant issues was dealing with an often ineffective management team. Despite my team's repeated attempts to address these concerns through HR, it seemed that management's approach remained unchanged. This led to a lack of clear product direction and insufficient tools to work with efficiently. The compensation was also below industry standards, with very limited opportunities for growth and development. During interviews, the company was not transparent about the product, workload, and expectations, which led to a disconnect between what was presented and the reality of the job. The work environment was also affected by unprofessional practices , and a lack of accountability. These factors, combined with a high employee turnover (with few staying beyond a year), pointed to a deeper cultural issue. Feedback or criticism was often met with personal responses rather than constructive dialogue.
