Pros

Culture is good, friendly employees. The company sets up good opportunities for training and learning. Good health benefits. Great company parties.

Cons

The direction is not fully defined and tends to change regularly, ultimately trickles down the chain of command, where management needs to tell employees one thing only to have it change because upper management does not know the direction. Way too many meetings. Lots of "hurry up to wait" projects, due to one reason or another. The company will claim that there is room for advancement, truth is that advancement is slow, management positions tend to be hired from outside than from within.

Pros

When I joined prAna, it was a thriving, mission-driven company with an incredible culture and sense of purpose. I felt proud to be part of it. Over time, however, the company lost its way, struggling to define its identity and adapt to an increasingly competitive market. Former PROS: (no longer valid) -Passionate, talented teams who genuinely care about sustainability and design -Strong brand legacy and beautiful product foundation -Supportive peers and creative, collaborative work environment (at least historically) -Generous employee discount and connection to an active lifestyle community

Cons

-Frequent executive turnover and shifting strategies led to confusion and instability -Reliance on outside brand consultants without consistent follow-through -Significant loss of institutional knowledge due to repeated layoffs of long-term employees -Limited opportunities for career growth or advancement -Struggling to maintain clear direction and brand identity in a challenging market
