The benefits package is decent but could use some enhancements to meet the expectations of employees in similar roles.

The owners of TKLabs make a great effort to take care of the employees and treat them well. It feels like being part of a family. They have employee lunches and other activities for team building.

Its a small private company, engineering services. Engineers work for clients of TKLabs, sometimes at the clients location. If a client cancels a contract with TKLabs unexpectedly (eg. Covid) then TK might not be able to find work for you and they would have to let you go. Its a risk but then even at large companies, layoffs happen. Also they are not able to offer as much PTO as larger companies.
