Pros

I have nothing good to say about this company.

Cons

This company promises a lot to their employees and then stab them in the back. They don't know how to seperate business and personal issues. They use the 'at will" to their at advantage. They don't train their new employees well and god forbid if you couldn't train yourself and magically understand the material you were fired on the spot. They have no common decency for other human beings. They are vultures who only care about their pockets. I would not recommend my enemy to this company. They are horrible. FYI THEY WRITE THEIR OWN POSITIVE REVEWS. everyone i have talk to has nothing positive to say about them. They harass and intimidate their employees. No diversity and not welcoming to ethnic backgrounds. Management are abusing the "at-will" policy and don't train anyone properly. HR is not for the employees its for the employer they protect the 'bosses'. They are abusing the system.

Pros

Pro: Will promote from within if they like you. They will also try to have a fun culture. But that little bit of effort doesn’t make up for the toxic environment. The assistants will fetch you coffee. If you like Kirkland and Hobby Lobby decor then you will love the walls at this place. If you have little experience but a smile and male, you have a better chance of moving up. Knowing how to do the job is not important.

Cons

This is long but I am addressing four serious issues with this company. Quality of work does not matter. They promote people that are completely unqualified for the position. They prefer people that smile a lot than actually have the skills to do their job. And if you bring this up you will be considered negative and it will reflect badly on you. I have also seen them hire for personality alone instead of talent and ability. There is no organization or time management. They say they want to change but they do not. They are set in 2002. It is borderline chaos. And they will get rid of anyone that points out how inadequate they are for their leadership positions rather than grow, change, and learn. Management is a joke and prefer yes-men (and I mean men) than people who want to be honest and do a good job. Women are for coffee, notes, and decorating. You will never be part of the club. The way women are treated is atrocious. Women are yelled at and berated while men enjoy the boy’s club. They will speak over you. Women are less likely to move forward and be paid fairly because of the boy’s club. It is a big problem. They will push the ESOP on you like it is your ticket to retirement. That is IF the shares are worth something. Due to joint ventures and growth it probably won't be. So far the company’s shares have been worthless and the company is being investigated. The reality is that the company couldn’t be sold easily because of the joint ventures the majority of the centers belong to. Envision has unfavorable splits. So they sold the company to itself. I like to say I learn a good deal with each job but this place only tested my patience. I worked for corporate and cannot speak to the imaging centers. Half of corporate is located on the Focus on the Family campus which also reflects their values.

Pros

There aren't many, working remote is probably the only one

Cons

When I was considering moving to Envision I read all of the reviews and was very wary of taking the position but they convinced me that the "aspects of the negative reviews are from the past and have been taken care of". Not true at all. Not only is management still awful, they are completely unorganized and unprofessional. They also lied to me in my interview to convince me to work there. One of the worst jobs I have ever had. If you are considering taking a job there, I would highly recommend that you read all the reviews before making a decision because the negative ones are true, at least for the HUB. As for any positive reviews, I am guessing they come from a "favorite" or someone who doesn't care how they are treated because even if you put your nose down and produce good work, that doesn't make management any better or keep them from lying to potential new hires, or make them any less organized or less unprofessional. If you like being called "love" by your supervisor and spoken to in a condescending manner then this is the place for you.
