Pros

An option to start a career in consulting and get exposure to pharma.

Cons

Hours are long as you are put on far too many projects at the same time - good for company profitability I guess but employees are paying the price. There are definitely problems balancing sales and capacity. The consulting market is full of opportunities at the moment, even if you are considering a small firm in the pharma / healthcare sector - Eradigm should probably be a third tier option.

Pros

Friendly colleagues and interesting work

Cons

Greedy management. Chronic overworking. Little regard for how we feel or when too much is too much. I had so many projects, I couldn't think straight. Colleagues try to help but are super junior. There is a total lack of actual support. Training and development is a joke. If you're doing well, they love you, if you're struggling, no one cares and you're treated as if they want you to leave.

Pros

Nice colleagues and a good range of projects / clients

Cons

There is a lack of structure and training – this results in a bit of a sink-or-swim environment. Colleagues are nice and they do try to help but as you can see from the team most people in the company are very junior. There are only a couple of experienced people in the company which means that when the company was smaller they were able to provide training and support but now it’s just not possible. The situation is obviously getting worse as the company grows. So if you are looking for development opportunities, training and to learn from experienced consultants then you might want to consider another company. As you progress the pressure from "the top" to deliver / generate revenues increases.
