Ethos3 - Stay Away From This Company

Pros

There are absolutely zero pros to working at Ethos3.

Cons

BEWARE!! When you interview for Ethos3, the way the culture is presented is a complete lie. It is presented as progressive and employee-friendly, while it is the exact opposite. In addition, the owner of Ethos3 is controlling, manipulative, and does not treat his employees or clients with respect. You might like him during your first interaction however his true egotistical, immature personality will eventually be revealed. He also presents himself as a presentation expert however his techniques are not supported by current presentation science, and he overcharges for his outdated services. Even though I worked for Ethos3 for years, I would NEVER let my friends, nor my worst enemies, work for or hire Ethos3.

Pros

You'll learn how to work under extreme stress.

Cons

The owner of the company is a slick talking salesman who lures young people in to his company with the promise of an exciting startup environment. This could not be further from the truth. He won't raise your salary, he will not treat you with respect. He had a public affair that the entire company had to endure in uncomfortable silence because we were too afraid to speak up and be fired. Honestly the most horrific company I have ever worked at.

Thank you for providing your review and feedback. Ethos3 is committed to always providing WOW experiences for our clients. This approach and mindset does create for a fast paced working environment - but it’s an environment that provides a diversity of work and a huge sense of reward for working with some of America’s most admired brands. At the end of the day, great service only exists because of a great team. And, great teams are tough to hold on to if you don’t take care of them which is why Ethos3 believes in always having an open and fun culture, providing quarterly bonuses, annual raises, full health coverage, a flexible working environment, and a 401k plan. I’m sorry you felt the above was unfair. I wish you nothing but the best with your future career adventures. Scott Schwertly Founder and CEO of Ethos3

Cons

- Poor senior leadership (HR/Ops Mgr and CEO) - Poor pay - Workplace drama (affairs drove employees to leave, people being fired on the spot) - No transparency - Stubborn CEO who isn’t capable of developing his team - Unfulfilling work (building PPT templates all day) - Almost no culture - Passive aggressive HR person who is also the accountant and IT person
