This is a small family owned business. You’ll find that the majority of employees have either been here 15+ years or >1, management says it is due to a “lack of company loyalty” but the company needs to be loyal to its employees as well. Because this is a small family owned business you will not have opportunities to move up the ladder, there will not be opportunities for promotion. From day one you will be given 50% of the PTO/Sick Days offered at competing companies and be paid ~50-75% of what you would be paid at other companies in the same position with the same experience. If you are offered employment here, feel free to take the job but I would recommend taking the experience and using it to get hired at a different company after 1-2 years, you’ll be far better off than you would be if you stayed here 10+ years. This company and its sister companies do not offer enough incentives to employees to stay, do not pay competitively, do not offer competitive compensation, and do not provide opportunities for employees to move up without staying for MANY years.
