I have been working at EvergreenHealth part-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great providers and equal level co workers

    Cons

Business profits gets in the way of patient care

    Advice to Management

Listen to your staff ideas, attempt to change if appropriate, don’t keep going with the same meetings one after another to address the same thing week after week. Nothing is getting better or contributing from those meetings. It’s just keeping you away from ground zero and not being engaged with current situations. People are unhappy and managers are never around to understand the staffs frustration. managers should be somewhat mentors and guide, no one is providing any guidance or knowledge of issues since they don’t even know or care to ask the right questions.

    Pros

The team I’m a part of is like none I have ever seen before! Smiley, welcoming, and all staff are very happy to be at work! It’s truly like a second family. Doors are open and communication is alive on all levels. Employee parking is available at no cost! Great benefits! A lot of organization support is needed depending on your need from IT to HR. Personality culture is very important here!!

    Cons

Lots of training, heavy front load like all new jobs. Some required trainings start at 8am which is early for some people.

    Advice to Management

    You’re settling a great example!

I have been working at EvergreenHealth full-time

    Pros

The doctor I work with and a few colleagues.

    Cons

    MODERN DAY SLAVERY!
Overworked, underpaid, short staffed, not enough staff coverage to take a proper break or lunch and don't you dare attest on your time card that you were unable to take a break/lunch because you will be talked to. Constantly being micromanaged by upper management, unrealistic exceptions, takes months to hire new staff because everyone quits once they realize how toxic it is to work here.

I have been working at EvergreenHealth full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Always great coworkers, free parking

    Cons

Constant micromanagement of good employees while bad employees get away with terrible behavior and no one ever does anything about it. Management does whatever they want they might ask for suggestions and then never ever use them.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to listen to emloyees that have been around for 20 plus years and learn from there advise.
