Pros

It's an ad-network dealing mostly with adult content, which is located in Torre Mapfre in Barcelona, with a great view over the beach! The office is modern and full of light, and the building is also very nice! Most of the people working in the office are quite relaxed and friendly, and willing to help each other, and the office atmosphere is, overall positive.

Cons

The management team: most of the team managers have lack of skills and knowlege to be managing people. The Customer Service manager, for instance, lacks humanity toward his team members, not being able to give any positive feedback and always making almost impossible to reach any kind of bonus! The owners of the company: one a very good sales guy, and the other a tech guy, also lack experience managing people. The Human Resources team: although very friend, is a joke! They should be called recruitment team, as any other HR tasks are performed by management. The trainings: insufficient and not really interesting; The bonus scheme: hard to get and totally subjective, variable due to managers opinions; The internat procedures: change too fast, and depending on team managers will. Not consistent, and often contradictory. Internal communication and tools: poor, often information is lost due being send using the wrong channels; The company issues ilegal job contracts for the employees working during weeks, not following Spanish Labour law! Overal the company is not really open to new ideas from employees, and also due to lack of career progression in the company, there is an high turnover.

Thank you for your comments and we are sorry that you felt negatively about your experience working at ExoClick. Just to address some of the cons you listed: Our HR team has worked hard to introduce a large range of company benefits for employees which contributes to creating an excellent company culture, the HR team also recently implemented ExoClick University which offers employees and management a wide range of training courses from people management to platform training. Our internal communication channel is via our company intranet which features several useful features for employees including: Q & As with platform tips and features from other ExoClick staff, company news, profiles of employees so we can all get to know each other better, and much more. We also use Slack to communicate internally a large range of useful topics. We are always open to listening to new ideas from staff and have implemented many of our employees suggestions with a great deal of success. We would also like to point out that we were ranked at #11 for Spain in the Great Place to Work scheme which is an independent survey in which all ExoClick staff answer a range of questions anonimously, this occurred during your time working at ExoClick. Thank you once again for sharing your views and we wish you every success in any future career endeavours.

Pros

There are some very friendly people in the department and in the office as a whole.

Cons

There are many things that need to be improved. The most important one is the salaries. The customer service role is more complicated than your usual customer services position, but it pays less. The company is making millions in profits each year, but employees are not payed well. The initial training is very poor and because of that you cannot achieve your bonus targets. Management wants people to be like robots and do exactly as they want. There is no flexibility or chance to express your own ideas. Other people mentioned that there is no chance of remote working, which is true and the salaries don't increase much after the first year. You have to work weekends and it is a permanent schedule that you cannot change. As there are not enough people in the teams, sometimes it is very stressful and management puts a lot of pressure on the employees.
