Just like everyone else, the pay was terrible. I was fired for allegedly being on my cellphone and being told not to be. This was entirely untrue. I was written up and when I refused to sign due to misleading and untrue statements by NDT management, they fired me. I was brought before HR and they treated me like I was a criminal under investigation. I pleaded my case and told them I wouldn't just sign a reprimand knowing management was being...untruthful...about what had happened. They tried putting words in my mouth and made several false accusations. I was backed into a corner. I was livid and completely flabbergasted but what was transpiring. I should also state that this manager was hired because he knew part of the management within NDT prior. I can see no other reason for him getting that position due to his total incompetence other than that being a possible regular practice for Exotic Metals. DO NOT work for this company. There are much better options out there!
* Thankfully I now work for myself as an Independent contractor in Real Estate media and am very happy.
