Pros

colleagues, location and nothing else

Cons

I've worked at Fexco on multiple contracts and having had the chance to work for other companies before, I can certainly say my job at Fexco was the worst one I've ever had and hopefully will never have again. From the ridiculously low pay which is only a spit above minimum wage, to the way people are treated and systemically overworked, Fexco is not the job you're looking for if you want to grow as a human being or professional. Experience and competence are not criteria for a promotion in Fexco. Nepotism and favoritism are. Otherwise, it takes decades for someone to move forward in Fexco and that happens only if somebody else dies/retires, as grim as that may sound. The training they give you is always incomplete and if god forbid you ever make a mistake on account of insufficient/improper training, they blame it all on you and refuse to take accountability. The evaluation process is inadequate, outdated and unfair. You're made to feel worthless and confused. On one hand they tell you you're doing a great job, while on the other they give you poor evaluations that really make you wonder why they're still keeping you. 90% of the Team Leaders are completely incompetent; most of them illiterate even, yet these are the people who evaluate your grammar and spelling. TLs and seniors delegate all tasks they don't know/want to do to you, even if those activities aren't even in the same zipcode as your job description. I've done and seen people do accounting, billing, collections, sales, retention, reconciliation and account management all on a CSR position without any extra pay or bonus. They way management talks to employees is condescending to put it mildly. At the end of the day, you're left tired, drained and broken, dreading having to come back to work next day. I've seen people suffer severe mental breakdowns in my time there. The only positive as you'll surely see in other reviews as well is you get to meet other unfortunate souls you can commiserate with. Honestly, save your time and mental health and go look for a job elsewhere unless you're desperate and looking for a short term source of income.

Pros

During furlough (March - October ) they paid 100% of the salary

Cons

During redundancy of over 100 staff from Fexco subsidiaries in RFX No1 Currency and Thomas Exchange Global they didn’t even pay the redundancy pay and forced employees to claim it from the government despite been highly profitable. During redundancy process got rid of long standing staff who have been in the company more than 5 years whereas staff who joint less than 1 year secured their jobs simply cos they were personally recruited or family friends or boot lickers with the top management of Thomas Exchange Global (Fexco) Sold the company and brand (Thomas Exchange Goobal and No1 currency) to 100% subsidiary currency exchange Compnay (CEC) for fraction of the real value in a fraudulent pre pack administrative sale to get rid of massive corporate debts and unpaid retail branch rents amounting to over £10 million pounds and forcing the long standing staff out of those companies without any compensation or even the basic redundancy pay resulting in staff claiming the redundancy and holiday pay from the government. Pros

If you get along with the middle management, you'd be a star. The favourites always get away with anything.

Cons

Apparently they won GPTW, and I do not know how. This begs me to question the credibility of how GPTW actually ranks employers. - Terrible management, from middle to all the way up - No career progression - They do not care about your health or wellbeing - Bully and passes it up as banter - Very very low pay
