Pros

Less work, no work after office hours

Cons

**This review is likely to be pushed down by adding fake good reviews (by current employees)!! Cons are: 1. Work - Limited projects to work. You will not be evaluated on your work.. but you will be surely judged based on your agreement/disagreement with the management. Zero tolerance for difference of opinions. Difference of opinion will lead to your demotion/isolation from the team. 2. Work environment – i). Lacks professionalism – Meetings are cancelled at last minute without any information/justifications, people are nominated for trainings based on favouritism. ii)Employees are forced to sign minimum 2 years bond post any international training(no matter if the training was exclusive or not). iii). Narrow minded people- You are not allowed to talk to people freely.. there will always be a third eye watching you and reporting your personal behaviour to the higher ups. Many times, you will be called up for special advisory sessions wherein you will be told whom should you talk to and even what should you talk. 3. HR & Work policies – (i)9.5 working hours daily with no flexibility. (ii)No work from home option, no sick leaves available. Loss of pay(LOP) is absolutely fine. Earned leaves(EL) is pro-rata basis and gets credited only in next year beginning. So, in the first year of joining, it becomes very very difficult to take leaves because you have no ELs and hence you have to go for LOPs. Just in case you are a lady, pls do consider that they do not have an open culture and no HR policies to ease your life (sick leaves/work from home/flexibility). iii)Breakfast and lunch are available on paid basis. You need to punch (in biometrics) for lunch on daily basis. The golden rule is that even if you take lunch from their canteen once, by default, money for that whole month will be deducted. (What is the use of biometric punching for lunch then??) iv)You are not allowed to move out of office premises during work hours without HOD’s written permission. v) There is no food/snacks vendors within office premise(other than the canteen breakfast and lunch for limited time) and you cannot move out of premises as per (iii). vi)No recreational facilities(like sports/fun activities) for employees. Team outings once in 1-2 years depending on the mood of higher ups. Employee engagement activities are considered as a waste of time. 4. Transparency - Decisions are taken up by higher management without any logics/justification or considerations. Festo as a company has very good values on paper (like innovative, open, committed, etc.), but the management doesn’t follow any of them. 5. Exit process – HR department is very clumsy and shady in terms of exit process. In case of early relieving, they simply communicate/agree to a date. They do not inform anything about whether you owe them any money (and the amount) or you do not owe. But, at the time of final settlement (i.e. one month post your release when you are expecting your salary) they might suddenly ask you to pay lacs of money as settlement amount. It is assumed that ‘since you did not raise a query to check if you owe us anything, you agree to pay whatever the company asks you for.’ I have seen this chaos happening in multiple cases. There is a clear gap in communication from HR side and this gap is closed by blaming the employees.

Pros

Yes if someone has no AIM to grow high its a very good company to work with.

Cons

A company with big brand name in Pneumatic automation but when it comes to work life balance & working culture its pathetic here are few points would like to share 1. Office timing 8.15 AM to 5.50 PM (make it littel systematic ) and why you need so high working hours its reflects you are not capable to finish your job with in limited time. 2. Old style of working and no working culture and ethics 3. There is no intention to change their mindset with in aggressive market place 4. Yes there are few old guys who are good at product knowledge but when it comes to planning and strategy they are very poor .. I mean if you go for strategy meeting you will find peoples will discuss what strategy we should do and that end up with marketing communications, no body clears about long term visions 5. Most of the employs are good at doing calumny. 6. Comes to HR policy - if you travel outdoor they will pay 250 INR for food charge , you have to go by bus or train , common HR how can a employ survive full day with in 250 INR including BF,Lunch and dinner 7. There no policy for anything everything verbally decided 8. You wont get any support from other dept if you are new to this organization. 9. Salary structure is very pathetic , they will take money from you in the name of Ex gratia , superannuation etc and they will not give it to you even you stay there for one full year. 10. you wont get much leave and they will ask you to work even in Saturday and Sunday 11. There is no culture to go out with your team and have fun , team building activity etc 12. you will be pissed off in this company and wont get any time to spend with your family. and many more ..

Employee Feedback

Pros

Good transportation service and nothing else

Cons

Review for India Location Canteen Facility: The food quality is extremely poor. Despite repeated feedback, no corrective measures were taken. Work Culture: Extreme levels of micromanagement create a high-stress, toxic work environment. Employees are subjected to constant surveillance, with project management leadership monitoring laptops every hour. This level of intrusion significantly hampers productivity and autonomy. Frequent, excessively long one-on-one meetings (up to 1.5 hours) disrupt work and serve no real purpose beyond undue pressure and harassment. Hostility toward new employees is evident, with an environment that discourages fresh perspectives and fosters insecurity at the leadership level. Complaints about workplace harassment and unethical practices were ignored by senior management, and legitimate concerns were actively suppressed. Employees are forced to take on irrelevant tasks outside their job roles, such as conducting training sessions on unrelated topics. The overall work culture thrives on fear-based management, with frequent use of demotivating language and unreasonable demands, making it difficult for employees to perform effectively. Final Thoughts: If you are considering joining this organization, be aware that micromanagement, lack of leadership accountability, and a toxic work culture are prevalent. Employee well-being is not prioritized, and feedback mechanisms are ineffective. Proceed with caution.
