The lack of proper oversight of the CT branch managers allowed them to behave badly, and sadly the subordinates were unfairly blamed for the actions of those managers by the CEO and Asst CEO. It was quite shocking, but it was a pattern. Long term, non-management employees were robbed of their opportunity to retire with the company as a result. I was one of them.
