Pros
First Contact has some great things going for it; benefits, work hours, no crunch culture, and good pay. There is some top notch talent on board and employees have many opportunities to learn and grow.
Cons
Performance reviews are not tied to start date. The entire company receives annual reviews at the same time. Upper management has missed their own deadlines for these two years in a row. Developer concerns are ignored by decision makers. Major features are omitted until management sees negative feedback from players. The team has to scramble to put these features in, even though many of these same people were trying to get said features in 6-12 months prior to launch. The head of Human Resources is married to the CEO.
