Pros

Most departments you can work from home once a week. There is a free gym onsite.

Cons

- Huge difference in salary and bonus packages. The company screams about being profitable but when it comes to annual salary reviews they dont have any budget available. - Senior management team is 'boys club' clique - dont expect any interaction, help or acknowledgement that you exist. - Unfriendly office environment, do not expect any eye contact or a hello. However, expect to be spoken about and HR to be apart of the gossiping team. Poor culture even though on the face of it it appears to be a well established company. - So many wrong people in the wrong roles - Some talented staff here with good salaries but the majority just having got a clue about the business or their roles - Staff seem unhappy and the majority just want to be elsewhere, there is zero passion or accountability from anyone who works for the company - There are a lot of long serving employees 10 years +, this is not because they are passionate about their roles or the company. The environment suits their families lives -No processes, procedures or training in place. Everyone is so fearful that someone may be brighter or smarter than them that you will be excluded from meetings. - Expect unprofessional catty behavior by your own team mates whilst the managers and directors ignore the situation. - Management turn a blind eye to almost everything here (good job, bad job, good attendance poor attendance no will will batter an eye lid) - Poor social culture - No encouragement whatsoever if you want to develop your learning or career. You can ask to join conversations or meetings until the cows come home and still be ignored.

Pros

Some friendly and helpful people who share the pain with you

Cons

- The new management, from the top down. They're only interested in themselves and protecting/justifying their own roles. The place is saturated with management and there's no proper structure or lines of engagement. - Nepotism is rife and although it is a small company with limited development, any opportunities that do arise are snapped up by friends of management. - No feedback policy for staff. Staff are not listened to and there is no formal way of raising issues. If issues are raised 121 with management, they are dismissed as 'middle management' are too afraid to manage up (see protecting jobs above). Nowhere to turn if you have a grievance - It is a serious issue as it has created a toxic environment. - Shifts are a knee-jerk reaction to issues of the past and a shoddy excuse of a 24/7 support model without any investment or thought process. Small teams with 24/7 cover mean work/life balance goes out of the window.

Pros

Most of the employees are nice people just trying to make the best of a bad situation.

Cons

Management are disconnected from the employees and show little respect. Managers show obvious favoritism to certain employees and treat everyone else badly. Managers waiting to jump on any mistakes made, but very rarely/never give praise. Very stressful and negative atmosphere. No job progression.
