Valuable Experience but Difficult Workplace Culture
Pros
While working at Firstrust Bank, the two most positive aspects of my experience were the professional relationships I built outside the organization and the opportunity to partner with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Cons
• Fast-paced and frequently disorganized work environment that often-created unnecessary stress • Limited management support and a workplace culture that at times felt intimidating and discouraging to employees • Resistance to process improvements and continued reliance on outdated systems, equipment, and technology • Advancement opportunities appeared inconsistent and were not always perceived as being based solely on performance, experience, or customer service skills • Ongoing workplace tension and interpersonal conflicts within certain departments • Compensation and benefits did not feel commensurate with the workload, responsibilities, or long hours expected
