Pros

Strong exposure to policy, legislative, and stakeholder data at scale. Good learning curve in the early years if you are starting your career. Some genuinely capable and hardworking individual contributors across teams.

Cons

- After spending years at a company, I learned that performance and loyalty do not always protect you from opaque decision-making, favoritism, and inconsistent leadership standards. What hurt most wasn’t rejection — it was the lack of honesty and accountability from management. Management quality is the biggest problem, not the work itself. - Career growth is inconsistent and heavily manager-dependent, not performance-driven. - Long-term employees are often taken for granted, with loyalty rewarded by higher expectations rather than recognition or support. - Feedback is frequently vague, delayed, or selectively applied, making growth conversations feel performative. - Decisions around roles, opportunities, and hiring lack transparency and are often misaligned with actual contribution and experience. - Culture messaging does not match day-to-day reality when employees push back, ask hard questions, or reach transition points.

Pros

Good teammates. Opportunity to work with some of the major and global clients Global team structure Salary on time Insurance Benefits

Cons

Hire and Fire Policy - Please think before joining this firm, as FiscalNote doesn't have any formal set up in India. I was a part of the consulting team of FrontierView Global workforce. There is no consulting employee at India office. I was having a scheduled internal call with my boss for a project discussion. When joined the call, I was surprised to know that I was fired as a part of the FiscalNote’s global restructuring. They informed me that ‘my services are not required any more’. So within a minute it was my job crash. Low pay - Very low pay compared to the Indian market No transparent HR policy - No HR policy exists. I would only recommend to take risk joining this firm in case of no options available. Job description and work profile do not match at all.

bad compensation structure (changes every year which is highly demotivating for employees), leadership lacks empathy, people are put on PIPs and are laid off without warning
