Difficult Market

Pros

Nice atmosphere, flexible and open policy, no-nonsense politics, possibly a good landing spot to start a career and learn, a sophisticated technology product suite, top notch for academic research related EU projects

Cons

The market where it operates (a vendor of enabling software for cloud infrastructure) is extremely tough vis-a-vis the gigantic companies making multimillion dollar investments and the difficult competitive spot facing traditional Managed Services Providers. Flexiant has the typical challenges, peculiarities and duress of a cash-tight smaller start-up that has been around for a few years before real ramp up.

Pros

Working for the R&D department, has a very friendly and flexible work environment, where you are not hassled to work constantly but you are expected to get your work done on time.

Cons

The salary is a little lacking but this is made up with additional flexibility. Due to the size of the company there is no real chances of promotion
