Pros

-Market leader, over 90% market share in some segments. - Part of a large public company. -Very Good benefits package from parent company. - Some terrific people are employed there and are a pleasure to work with.

Cons

- A severe morale problem throughout the organization. - Very bloated with middle management taking micro-managing to new heights. - One rotten apple makes working there a miserable experience.

Pros

Great Pay! And Great Benefits!

Cons

Sexist environment where women are constantly put down, talked down to, or set up to fail. My recommendation is to run!! This place will put you through hell and back and it’s not worth it! The lack of diversity is also quite ridiculous.

Constant change and instability

Pros

The employees are a good group and want the company to succeed. They are the leader in the industry due to their history and name recognition.

Cons

Upper management’s expectations of the employees are unrealistic on every level. A new General Manager is assigned to this IDEX business unit just about every 18 months and comes with a new direction. The sales/marketing/quality/logistics departments need many more employees to do what upper management is requiring. In most cases, individuals are doing two or three jobs. Communication within this organization is poor at best between/within departments and there is a constant upper management power struggle. They are not developing any new markets for their products and their primary customer base is shrinking quickly.
