Engineering department lacking staff / high turnover / slow process to replace team members.
No MVP for new products, so there's missed deadlines (not really Agile). No QA lead/or direction, too many code paths, so a LOT of bugs. Buggy product, with a lot of 3rd party integrations.
Contractor setup (if you're international) - FA Accounting team can be unhelpful when there's reimbursement hiccups. Logistics of getting/ returning laptops can be tricky, when folks are unhelpful when there's issues.
Mentorship programme is not structured, so if you've a busy mentor, it can be a disaster.
Daily annoyances (e.g. Security trying to phish you etc.)
Endless "1st week of employment at a corporation" types of training.
