      Pros

      - Remote - Pay is good for location - Travel for conventions, expenses paid for (like every other company)

      Cons

      - Fake company that over promises but under delivers - They did a round of layoffs to pad their numbers because they couldn't hit quota - Lies about how well they are doing, but it's really bad - Look at the first 1-star review, after the CEO saw that review, he told everyone in Slack to leave a 5-star review to pad the reviews, just like he's trying to pad the numbers to the investors - Stay way from this company if you can

      Company continually makes poor choices; Formic will not be around for long

      Pros

      A lot of the people that work here are great people outside of work. Remote work is nice. Concept is great and truly does help American manufacturing.

      Cons

      80% of the people leading this company are in the wrong roles and continually make poor choices. They have huge goals/expectations but do nothing to actually help the team get there. In order to get anything done within the company it must go through 10 other people, again most of which are clueless. This company will not be around for very long, almost everyone within the company is looking to leave. I would not advise anyone to take a role here if you are looking to make your next job the one that you have for years to come.

      Pros

      Listen, they put on a good show to “help American manufacturing,” yet they won’t take the time to retain talent to do that. There is not a pro about this other than the concept is interesting, but the wrong guy leading it.

      Cons

      Leadership is selfish and misdirected. They have significant problems within using aggression and force to scare employees. Their COO is a narcissist that screams at others when he doesn’t get his way. It’s a scared place to work, fair warning.
