Pros

The work is interesting and ever-changing. Employees at all levels are not only constantly encouraged to voice their opinions on how to improve processes and culture, but also given platforms do so on a regular basis both publicly and privately. Leadership appears to carefully consider and apply this feedback as they sculpt the company's future. FourFront is a collaborative environment where your input is valued and you're encouraged to carve out your own path. Anyone in the company is accessible to any employee, from the top of the organization to the bottom, and everyone there wants to see both you and the company succeed. If you're struggling, or just interested in learning something new, anyone there will be willing to take time out of their (probably really busy) day to offer help. The generous PTO and flexible hours are great for work-life balance. The pay is perfectly acceptable, and good work is rewarded proactively by management. The office is located on top of both a brewery and a barbecue joint, and both churn out a fantastic product. The company is still lean enough that if I put my job title on this post, anyone there would be able to deduce who wrote this, and I intend it to be anonymous.

Cons

If you lack impulse control when it comes to indulging in beer and barbecue, your health may suffer from visiting the office regularly. This isn't really a con, but everyone there is creative, ambitious, and invested in the company's growth. If you take comfort in doing the same thing each day and putting in the minimum amount of work required between 9-5, this won't be a good fit for you.

This review gives context to how we describe our culture and who is a good fit: "FourFront is not for the timid or complacent. We are a good fit for a bold professional with a track record of innovative work. The perfect candidate for FourFront wants to contribute every single day and work harder and smarter when faced with a challenge."

Pros

Co-workers were the only positive to mention, but I'm supposed to come up with 20 words of pros and I cannot.

Cons

If you like being controlled and hounded about how to do your job, then this is a great place for you to work. Small, stuffy office environment with HVAC problems. Can hear everyone's conversations. Management thinks they know everything and put you in a position to fail.

We have definitely made some mistakes. Learning how to be good leaders and managers is a lifelong pursuit, and we have taken leaps and bounds forward in the last few years. We strive to be the best we can be and appreciate that our errors of the past have provided valuable personal and business growth opportunities.

Pros

a few people were nice, not all. nice work/life balance.

Cons

unrealistic expectations, management is bad, a few times inappropriate. Notice how it's either 5 stars or 1 star reviews. any 5 star review is from current employees hoping their reviews entices potential applicants.

Being successful at FourFront requires a high degree of adaptability and flexibility plus a strong hunger for learning and growth. We understand that this environment is not a good fit for everyone, and we have taken steps to incorporate both discussion of and screening for these qualities in our recruiting process. Also, we are working to become a GlassDoor "Open Company" which is a designation signaling our commitment to transparency. One of the requirements is to invite employees to write reviews. FourFront does not influence or incentivize the reviews or pressure employees to participate.
